Pumpkin Bread! Zucchini Bread! No Bake Cookies!  As you can see from the photos; I spent the day baking, which I haven't done in years, and that is how long he has been gone, years 3 to be exact this coming Christmas morning, yet for some unknown reason the spirit of Christmas hit me this year, and said "Mom" bake some goodies, it will be good for you, and thus the pumpkin bread, zucchini bread, and the "no bake cookies-which I feel have not turned out the best", but I gave it the good ole HOLIDAY try, and turned on "Christmas music, Elvis-his favorite" and baked with joy and singing in my heart today. Which has not been there for sometime, so as you can see that the Holiday as a widow. Comes in many forms and format.  I am learning to find some peace and joy in the small things in life, and continue to live my life and moving on is the hardest part of losing someone and not being able to tell them in person "HEY I LOVE YOU" yet, showing them...

Do you remember when you were a child how you wished the day away, the year away, the time away, OH if I was grown, I would do this do that. Then, the time came for you to fly the coupe so to speak from your parents house, and move onto your life, albeit in college, marriage, military or other job so to speak!  Then, as got older had children of our own, marriage, and other life events, grandchildren and watching them grow, we begin to see we have aged and ask ourselves, where did the time go!  I have so many things to accomplish, so many things to finish, and then the ultimate happens, you lose someone near and dear to your heart, and all those things, you placed before life do not seem as important and the time for that moment has come and gone! Never to be retrieved again!  Happy Halloween is fasting approaching, and this time of year brings out all the ghost and goblins, searching for treats, and if none found will offer you up a trick!  When you were a child how did you feel about trick or treating, did you dress up and what was your favorite character, or most of all did you parents make your costume, or did you go to the store to purchase your favorite superhero! AS for us we made most of our costumes, and when my children were little, they had some homemade, and some store bought costumes to lighten their eyes! Oh the days of year past and the wonderment of children going door to door finding treats.  Saying "Trick or Treat"! And the joy of the neighbors delighting in the costumes and asking, who are you, oh my you are scary! The giggles and laughters that ensued was the enjoyment of the parents.  As we grow older and our children grow and we miss this time when they were all so little, and now some have the enjoyment of watching ...

Hello! How suiting is this statement for life.! Some sit in judgement of us and we sit in judgement of others, and then GOD sits in judgment of all.  The question becomes, who are we judge the decisions of others, and put our 2 cents into the bucket of what they can and cannot do?  This post is about making life decisions that are based on your choices, your sanity and your dreams. Do not allow others to sit in judgement of the decisions you are making for your mental well being, do not allow others to say, "WHY YOU DOING THAT", WHAT IS REASON FOR THIS DECISION", if the choice does not affect them, in anyway, then by all means, take the step and move on!  Remember you are make the decision that is best for you and for your family, and ultimately you will live with the choice you chose. Trust yourself , and your instincts they have not steered you wrong!  I am learning this life lesson the hard way once again, but will come out on top and the find the path of le...
